Toys R Us is Closing...but what about their diapers?

*Update 6/27/18- Toys 'R' Us stores will be closing this week. Diaper Dabbler will no longer carry sample-size packs of Babies 'R' Us diapers. 

So…you’ve all heard the news. Toys ‘R Us and Babies ‘R Us are closing their doors. Waaaaaahhhhhhhhhh! You can have a moment to grieve. They were a staple in the modern parent’s landscape. Most Moms I know registered at Babies ‘R Us, and many still shop there for diapers, if nothing else. But for only a little while longer. 

Were Babies ‘R Us diapers your favorite diapers?

I want to talk about their diapers. Diaper Dabbler has been carrying sample-size packs of Babies 'R Us brand diapers in our Modest Mama Diaper Variety Package as well as in our Build Your Own Custom Size 1 Diaper Variety Package. We loved their diapers as an option for many parents, and the price was right.

With the impending Babies ‘R Us closure (I understand my local Babies ‘R Us store will be open until May 2018), Diaper Dabbler will not be restocking their store brand diapers, but will sell out of our remaining stock of sample packs.

You might want to quickly grab a sample-size pack of Babies ‘R Us diapers in size 1 while we still have them, because I think we’ll be seeing some great sale prices coming on Babies ‘R Us store brand diapers! You will want to know that they work for your baby before buying boxes of these diapers that you will not be able to return.

At this time, Babies ‘R Us brand diapers will remain in the Modest Mama Diaper Variety Package while we are working behind the scenes to find a replacement for them. If you order a Modest Mama Diaper Variety Package and you would prefer to substitute a different brand for Babies ‘R Us, we will allow that customization. Just make a note at checkout or send us a message via chat or an email. We want to make you happy, and we know this is an exceptional circumstance.

We will remove the Babies ‘R Us brand from our website when we sell out, or when their stores finally close (whichever happens first). Any remaining stock we have will be donated to families in need at our local area diaper drive in the fall.
